<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical CDMA decoder and an optical CDMA communication system that can remove an unnecessary side lobe component of a decoded optical signal pulse and an unnecessary pulse train of non-decoded signal. <P>SOLUTION: The optical CDMA decoder is provided with a wavelength demultiplexer 12 having an input and a plurality of outputs, a plurality of variable delay lines 13 having the input and at least two outputs connected to one of the plurality of outputs of the wavelength demultiplexer, two wavelength multiplexers 14-1 and 14-2 having the input and the output respectively connected to at least two outputs of variable delay lines, a directional coupler 15 having two inputs and two outputs connected to the outputs of the respective wavelength multiplexers, and a balanced photoreceiver 16 connected to two outputs of the directional coupler 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
