<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that relieves load in a shared device, such as MFP, without having to implement simple system resource increase. <P>SOLUTION: The MFP 4 and a remote computer 6 are connected to a network 2. The MFP 4 has basic functions 10, such as printing, scanning, and faxing functions. An additional application 16, providing an added value to the basic functions 10, is arranged to the remote computer 6, together with its performance environment 18.
