<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control effects of music sound by performance expressions of a player when playing an electric stringed instrument, such as electric violin 1 and electric guitar. <P>SOLUTION: The electric violin 1, and adapter 2 and a powered speaker 3 are connected, and vibrations of strings 11 of the electric violin 1 are detected by a pickup 13 musical sound signal is input to a musical sound input part 21. An acceleration is detected by an A sensor 10 provided on a bow 12 and is received in an A sensor detecting part 23. The magnetism of a permanent magnet 20a on the bow 12 is detected by a B sensor 20 provided on the electric violin 1 and detects distance and tempo. An effect parameter setting part 25 determines effective parameters, according to the sensor value of the A sensor 10 and the B sensor 20 and sets in an effect processing part 26.
