PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate error included in an azimuth in detecting the azimuth. SOLUTION: This azimuth detector detects the frequency and phase difference as parameters when a signal arrival azimuth is detected by a signal detecting section, compares a phase difference table where frequency, phase difference, and signal arrival azimuth are registered with the frequency and phase difference as the output from the signal detecting section, and detects the signal arrival azimuth.
