PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like laminate which is made by a simple structure and a simple manufacturing process and is used for housing articles, life articles and the like each utilizing a wooden function, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The sheet-like laminate has the first air-permeable sheet-like layer 14, the second layer 18 laminated on the first layer 14 and made of a plurality of short cut sliced wooden pieces 16, and the third layer 20 overlying the second layer 18 and made of flexible short fibers for a non-woven fabric. The fibers of the first layer 14 and the third layer 20 get entangled with each other by a needle punch work to be integrally formed into the sheet-like body. The sliced wooden pieces 16 are thick enough for the needle 25 of the needle punch to penetrate through, and is bigger than a clearance between the fibers 12 of the first layer 14 and the fibers 13 of the third layer 20.
