METHOD FOR DETECTING MOLD, MICRO-ARRAY AND KIT FOR DETECTING MOLD USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting a mold by which a judgment whether or not a labeling signal of a target is positive or false positive can be made. SOLUTION: The method for detecting the mold comprises a judgment step as follows. A micro-array in which spots of detection probes of a plurality of kinds specific for the mold which is the object of detection are arranged is prepared and the target for detection labeled with a first labeling compound is prepared from a nucleic acid in the test specimen. A reference for detection labeled with a second labeling compound is prepared from the standard sample of the mold which is the object of detection and the target is mixed with the reference and hybridized with the micro-array to measure each labeling signal of the first and second labeling compounds in the spots. The correlation coefficient r is calculated and tested for the correlation of the two labeling signals in the spots. When the correlation is affirmed on a prescribed significance level and the value of the correlation coefficient r exceeds a prescribed value, the labeling signal of the target is judged to be positive.
