Provided is a program distribution method in a managing computer for distributing a program to at least one apparatus each including a processor, a memory, and a communication interface. The method comprises steps of: storing program request information indicating a condition required for executing the program; judging whether an apparatus as a distribution destination of the program includes a program execution control unit for controlling execution of the program; and revising the program to be distributed, according to the program request information when the program is to be distributed to an apparatus not including the program execution control unit. Thus, it is possible to execute an program for various apparatuses.
