Disclosed is a method for establishing digital routes, particularly for hiking tours, cycling tours, or route suggestions for motorists, which are linked to visualization data. Said method comprises the following steps: tour data is recorded by moving a position determining device and at least one camera that is indirectly or directly coupled to said position determining device along a section selected as a route; tour data (position, altitude, speed, etc.) is acquired with the aid of the position determining device; images are recorded along the section by means of the camera, positional data (position, altitude) that is acquired by the position determining device being stored along with the images; the acquired tour data is linked to a digital map; and the recorded images are linked to the recording positions thereof in the digital map such that the images are displayed in a visualization device, especially a computer or a PDA, by marking a specific point of the route, particularly by moving a computer mouse or actuating cursor keys. |
