<p>The toothed circular part of the selector sleeve (9) is made of a metal band joined by a holding element (36) after the teeth (8) have been formed. Two rings (37) with a groove for the insertion of the selector fork between them are attached to the outer surface of the toothed part. Some of the teeth (8) are wider than the adjacent teeth (8), preventing an unwanted rotation. Extensions (30) are located at the tips of several other teeth (25) in order to restrict the axial motion of the sleeve (9).</p> |
