<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide illumination stairs securing safety in going up and down the stairs with indirect illuminating light from the back side of a stair board, preventing the degradation of appearance around the stairs while improving settlement of a lighting unit, facilitating adjustment of tie-in between the lighting unit and the stair board and improving workability without leading to a large-scale structure. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination stairs 1 with the lighting unit 4 disposed on the back side B of the stair board 2 comprising treads 2a and risers 2b, is provided with an illumination clearance 5 for emitting the indirect illuminating light R from the lighting unit 4 toward the surface side A of the stair board 2, at a boundary part between a side end 2c of the stair board 2 and a stair wall surface 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
