<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction apparatus capable of controlling the amount and state of ultraviolet rays and ozone generated by discharge. <P>SOLUTION: The catalytic reaction apparatus 1 comprises: a power circuit 2 for supplying power to respective circuits; a discharge voltage varying circuit 3 for determining a discharge voltage; a discharge circuit 4 as a discharge device for generating the discharge voltage according to the instruction of the discharge voltage varying circuit 3; a photocatalyst part 5 composed by clamping a photocatalyst 6 between electrodes 5a and 5b; a current sensor 7 for detecting a discharge current; and a high frequency amplifier 8 for amplifying/detecting only high frequency components from the output signals of the current sensor 7. The discharge voltage varying circuit 3 decides a discharge amount between the electrodes 5a and 5b on the basis of feedback signals from the high frequency amplifier 8 and varies the discharge voltage and eventually the ultraviolet rays and the ozone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
