摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic member which is excellent in fastness to friction, particularly, in wiping resistance and is hardly damaged and to provide a method for manufacturing the catalytic member. <P>SOLUTION: The photocatalytic member A1 is constituted in such a manner that: a protective layer 2 and a photocatalyst layer 3 are layered on a base material consisting of a thermosetting resin or a thermosetting resin-containing base material 1; the thermosetting resin 4 transferred to the surface of the photocatalyst layer 3 from the base material 1 through the protective layer 2 exposes flush with the surface of the photocatalyst layer 3; and an exposed part 4a of the thermosetting resin is dispersed on the surface of the photocatalyst layer. Since the photocatalyst layer 3 is protected by the exposed part 4a of the thermosetting resin, the fastness to friction, wiping resistance and damaging resistance of the photocatalytic member can be improved. Since the photocatalyst layer 3 does neither exfoliate nor drop out, the photocatalytic member can keep excellent photocatalytic action for a long period of time. The method for manufacturing the photocatalytic member is characterized in that when a transfer film formed by layering the photocatalyst layer 3 and the protective layer 2 is superposed on a base material forming material and is thermocompression bonded, the unset thermosetting resin contained in the base material forming material is transferred to the surface of the photocatalyst layer 3 through the protective layer 2, exposed and dispersed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
