<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC tag which can be wound around a target object in a loop shape and easily fixed thereon and has excellent bending/twisting strength. <P>SOLUTION: This band-type IC tag which has an IC chip for radio communication, at least one fixing projection enclosing an IC tag inlet consisting a transmitting/receiving antenna with the IC chip connected thereto, at least one opening for inserting/fixing the projection and which can be fixed in a loop shape by engaging the fixing projection and the opening is constituted by a first resin forming portion having a recessed groove, the tag inlet stored in the recessed groove, and a second resin forming portion for enclosing the recessed groove and the IC tag inlet.
