<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sure image deletion to be performed to a rewriting medium. <P>SOLUTION: This rewriting printer keeps a deleting section 301 which performs a deletion by the heating of a heater to the rewriting paper P being carried in a paper passage 106, and a thermal printer head 402 which performs printing arranged respectively on the upstream side and the downstream side of the paper passage 106. Then, the deletion characteristics of the rewriting paper P to be used are stored in a storage section, and the deletion temperature is acquired from the deletion characteristics of the rewriting paper P being stored in the storage section conforming to the relationship definition between the deletion characteristics of the rewriting paper P and the deletion temperature by the deleting section 301. Then, a heating energy which is imparted to the heater is controlled so that the temperature of the deleting section 301 may be kept at the acquired deletion temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
