PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material having a high maximum density of an image and excellent in fog, raw stock preservability, unevenness in development after heat development and image preservability under photoirradiation, a sheetlike photosensitive material and an image forming method. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has a photosensitive layer containing an organic silver salt, silver halide grains, a binder, a reducing agent and a silver saving agent on one surface of a support, wherein the reducing agent is a compound represented by general formula (RD1) and a solid content ratio of the total of the organic silver salt and the silver halide grains to the binder in the photosensitive layer is 0.81-1.62 by mass ratio.
