PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting member enabling construction of a farming hot house having no need of permanent installation of a pump and excellent in warm retention. SOLUTION: The supporting member 5 is set between inner and outer synthetic resin films 2a, 2b of a farming hot house (A) where the synthetic resin films 2a, 2b are superimposed on each other in its inner and outer directions between a plurality of portal supports 1, 1 arranged at every predetermined interval and extended with its outer peripheral part closed. The supporting member has a fixing part 5a with which the supporting member is fixed to the support 1, and a supporting part 5b supporting a spacer member 6 disposed between the inner and outer synthetic resin films 2a, 2b to form an air layer B.
