PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take both soundproof countermeasures for a water feed pump, etc., and heat retaining countermeasures for drain of a water tank in the interior of a case in an apparatus for microbially carrying out a purifying treatment of the drain of the water tank. SOLUTION: The apparatus for purifying the water tank is equipped with a case body 30 for housing the apparatus for microbially carrying out the purifying treatment of the drain of the water tank and a lid body 36 covering an opening of the case body 30. Furthermore, the lid body 30 is provided with waterdrop guidance pieces 36e for dropping water sticking to the back surface part of the lid body in the direction of the interior of the case body 30. In the lid body 30, buckles 53 pivoted on the case body 30 are engaged with engaging parts of the lid body and are demountable from the case body 30. A microaerobic treatment tank 31 and an aerobic treatment tank 32, a microbial bed housing container 33 and a pH regulator housing container 34 arranged on the treatment tanks and a physical filter medium housing container 35 arranged on the housing containers are housed in the case body 30.
