PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mooring method and a mooring system having a relatively simple and lightweight structure with a large restoring force against a positional change of a moored object, and capable of suppressing the whirling motion of the moored object moored to a mooring base body. SOLUTION: The mooring system for mooring an object 20 to be moored to a mooring base body 10 uses a mooring member 30 having a first mooring rope coupling part 31a, a second mooring rope coupling part 31b and a moored object connection part 32 which form apexes of a triangle. The first mooring rope coupling part 31a and the mooring base body 10, and the second mooring rope coupling part 31b and the mooring base body 10 are connected to one another by mooring ropes 33a, 33b, and a moored object side connection part 21 of the moored object 20 is connected to the moored object connection part 32.
