The lock operating system comprises two parallel disks (5, 6) mounted at right angles on the ends of shafts (2, 3) whose other ends carry handles. The disks can be coupled by a lever (12) which fits between notches (7) in them. The lever is spring-loaded into the unlocked position and can be moved by an electric motor (10) fitted with an eccentric cam (14).
