A system and a method for processing desired purchase item information with a portable terminal are provided to enable a user to check the item information of a desired purchase item in a shop by enabling the user to register the item information to a portable terminal and use the registered item information when the user wants to buy the item in the shop. A portable terminal(100,200) registers the desired item information to an item registration server(400) by transmitting a desired item information message, receives shop item information from the item registration server by transmitting an item information request message to the item registration server, and displays the shop item information. The item registration server registers the desired item information included in the message received from the portable terminal, transmits the registered desired item information to a POS(Point Of Sale) system server(500) of the shop when the request message is received, and transmits the information received from the POS system server to the portable terminal when the shop item information corresponding to the desired item information is received from the POS system server. |
