PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent loss of chance caused by deficiency of business resources to the predicted number of visitors and to simultaneously and surely prevent increase of management costs generated from excess of business resources to the predicted number of visitors.

SOLUTION: This optimization support system 100 is composed of: a customer attribute information registration part 150; a sale record registration part 152; a resource preparation amount information registration part 154; a predicted number of visiting customers registration part 156; a resource required amount information calculation part 158; a number of excess and deficiency table display part 160; a resource deficiency time band specification part 162; a past visiting customer information specification part 164; an e-mail address extraction part 166; a visit guide candidate time band specification part 168 which specifies a resource excess time band as a visit guide candidate time band based on the number of excess and deficiency and a guide e-mail generating and transmitting part 170 which generates and transmits a visit guide e-mail addressed to an extracted e-mail address.
