DISPLAY DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vertical stripes in an image displayed by an EL element by decreasing fluctuation in electric characteristics of a transistor in a column current generating circuit.

SOLUTION: A display device has a plurality of column current generating circuits supplying a signal current to each column of a plurality of EL elements in the plurality of two-dimensionally arrayed EL elements, and is characterized in that: the column current generating circuit includes a transistor M3 that holds a signal as a gate potential and outputs a signal current corresponding to the gate potential; the transistor M3 comprises a plurality of transistor elements M31 to M33 disposed as dispersed with sources and drains respectively connected in parallel; and the transistor elements M31 to M33 are disposed at a column pitch in the column array direction of the EL elements and at a given pitch in the row array direction of the EL elements.
