PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera apparatus and stroboscope color correction method in which an image of natural color tone can be obtained during stroboscope imaging. SOLUTION: When a shutter button is depressed in a stroboscope imaging mode (S3), after performing imaging of an image immediately prior to stroboscope emission (S4) and after performing stroboscope imaging (S5), the luminance distribution of an image performed imaging immediately prior to (S6) and luminance distribution of the image of stroboscope imaging are extracted (S7); the distribution of the difference therebetween is obtained (S8); the influence of stroboscope light included in the image of stroboscope imaging is canceled by applying a stroboscope color correction amount in proportion to the differential; and stroboscope imaging of a natural color tone is obtained (S9).
