PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire easily assemblable without degrading a waterproof function nor requiring strong screwing force, and capable of preventing product cost from increasing. SOLUTION: An inside plug body 12 of a waterproof plug body 3 is inserted from an end of a protective tube body 1; the inside plug body 12 is held to the protective tube body 1 to stop its rotation; a thread groove 14a formed on an insertion part 14 of an outside plug body 11 of the waterproof plug body 3 is screwed to a thread groove 16a formed on a connection part 16 of the inside plug body 12 to bring an inside circumferential end 11a of the outside plug body 11 into contact with a contact circumferential surface 18a of a waterproof ring 18 mounted to an inclined circumferential surface 15 of the inside plug body 12 to press it, whereby the waterproof ring 18 is moved along the inclined circumferential surface 15 and elastically deformed to tightly fit an inclined circumferential surface 18b of the waterproof ring 18 to the inclined circumferential surface 15 of the inside plug body 12; and an outer peripheral surface 18c of the waterproof ring 18 is tightly fitted to an inner peripheral surface 1a of the protective tube body 1 to keep a watertight condition.
