PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high speed cutting test apparatus enabling it to accelerate a cutting tool mounted in a pipe line with a compression gas to cut a part of a work material at a high speed equipped in a processing chamber connected with the pipe line under a controllable cutting atmosphere, then, to force the tool and the chips keeping high speed flying after a cutting process to stop without deformation or damage. SOLUTION: This high speed cutting test apparatus accelerates a flying vessel 10 incorporating a cutting blade of a small cutting tool 11 with a compression gas in a pipe line and realizes a cutting process within a processing chamber 1. Chips generated at the cutting process are stored in a flying vessel incorporating a cutting tool 11. A slow-down force with a compression gas is applied from a flying direction to the continuously flying vessel incorporating the cutting tool and the chips in a pipe line and the flying vessel is forced to stop at a fixed position without a collision to an impact absorber.
