PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of supplying clean air to an air-conditioned room, and capable of extending a period until maintenance is carried out by preventing easy attachment of dust to a discharge electrode of a charge part comprising an electric type air cleaner, and providing decomposition of odor components of soil in an opposite electrode. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises a filter 3, a heat exchanger 4, and a ventilation fan 5 in an air passage connecting a suction port 1 and a blowout port 2. It is characterized by that the charge part comprising the electric type air cleaner 9 is provided in an upwind side of the filter 3, and one part of blown out air is distributed to the charge part.
