PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact flow control valve having high flow stability. SOLUTION: The flow control valve 10 for controlling the amount of flow comprises a first flow path 13 provided in a body 11 formed of a resin, a valve hole 13a connected to the first flow path 13, a valve seat 15 provided around the valve hole 13a, a valve chest 16 provided around the valve seat 15, a second flow path 14 connected to the valve chest 16, and a flow regulating rod 23 for regulating the amount of flow into the valve chest 16. The amount of flow is controlled by adjusting the flow control rod 23 to change the opening of a valve element 12. The valve seat 15 has an annular recessed portion 11a for preventing the deformation of the valve hole 13a in the direction of reducing the diameter when the valve element 12 abuts on the valve seat 15.
