PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce frictional resistance of outer peripheral flank and lateral flank, and to effectively prevent chipping of a tip. SOLUTION: In this tip saw 1, the tip 5 is fixed to each tooth bed 4 of sawteeth 3 formed at fixed intervals on an outer periphery of base metal 2. In the tip 5, the outer peripheral flank 6 at the top is constituted of a first flank 6a on a front side (blade tip side) and a second flank 6b on a rear side having relief anglesα1 andα2 different with each other, respectively. By making the first flank 6a to have the relief angleα1 smaller by a prescribed length from a front edge of the tip 5, chipping of the blade tip is prevented.
