PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irregular light reflection generated on a panel surface after repair, by preventing diffusion of residual strain caused by pulling-back work of a bottom of dent in a repair work of the dent on an outer panel of an automobile. SOLUTION: The repair method of the dent on the panel comprises the steps of: preparing an open hole 4b through which a hooked arm 2a (30a) of a pulling tool 2 (30) can be inserted to the dent bottom part 4a of the panel; inserting the arm of the pulling tool into the open hole and getting it in backside of the dent bottom part; and pushing up the bottom of dent portion of the panel by pulling the pulling tool while rotating it so as to repair the dent.
