<p>The invention relates to devices applicable to skin for generating carbon dioxide and for passing this carbon dioxide into the skin; these devices are first of all bandages, plasters of sponges which are isolated hermetically and humidity-proof from outside, and from the other side, at the skin, are air-permeable. These devices carry between the two bordering surface granulates or powders containing at least two materials which are non-reactive in a dry condition, in turn, reacting with each other under the effect of humidity they generate carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide gas evolving under the effect of humidity from the granulate or powder penetrates through the air-permeable layer and exerts its advantageous effect on the skin.</p> |
