A method for removing the both terminal parts of kongnamul (bean sprouts), and an apparatus for screening kongnamul, an apparatus for aligning kongnamul, an apparatus for supplying kongnamul, and an apparatus for cutting both terminal parts of kongnamul are provided to allow the root part and sprout part of kongnamul to be removed completely before package and circulation. A method for removing the both terminal parts of kongnamul comprises the steps of separating the incompletely grown kongnamul and the short kongnamul from the harvested kongnamul to remove them; arranging the screened kongnamul in the longitudinal direction; and cutting the both terminal parts of kongnamul comprising a root part and a sprout part mechanically. Preferably kongnamul is fed on a lattice conveyer having a plurality of lattice space, the lattice conveyer is traveled with a belt conveyer and the short kongnamul is separated from a belt conveyor.
