<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system capable of notifying a patient of a nursing schedule in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A processor stores nursing schedule information 25, voice data 26, other information 27 and various programs 28 in a storage part 21. A control processing part 20 performs operation/control/processing according to the various programs stored in the storage part. The control processing part reads the nursing schedule information from the storage part by a nursing schedule monitoring program in the various programs. When the control processing part compares a scheduled time with an internally held clock to find that the scheduled time is within a prescribed time, the control processing part reads from the other information patient information (information necessary for schedule notification, such as room number/bed number and nurse call portable handset number) of a corresponding patient and sends the patient information to a nurse call control machine from a nurse call control machine communication part 23. The nurse call control machine calls a nurse call portable handset according to the patient information of the patient.
