<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus capable of lightening load on developer in the developing device. <P>SOLUTION: The developing apparatus includes a developer supplying/removing member 34 separately from a developer carrying member 33, and the developer supplying/removing member 34 is equipped with a conductive member 34A and an insulating member 34B provided on the surface thereof, and moving directions of the developer carrying member 33 and the developer supplying/removing member 34 are opposed in a developer supplying position from the developer supplying/removing member 34 to the developer carrying member 33. The developing apparatus is equipped with electric field producing devices 39 and 40 producing electric field between the developer carrying member 33 and the developer supplying/removing member 34, and the electric field is an oscillating electric field, in which direct potentials of the conductive member 34A and the developer carrying member 33 are the same, or the direct potential of the conductive member 34A, with respect to the direct potential of the developer carrying member 33, is on the opposite side to a normal charging polarity of the developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
