<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease vertical stripe noise in a display region and to improve picture quality by suppressing changes in a drive current due to fluctuation in characteristics of a current drive transistor for column current generation. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage current converter circuit operates steps of: turning on a transistor M1a to supply a video signal Video through holding capacitors C1a, C2a to the gate of a PMOS transistor M5a, turning on M3a to supply a current from VCC while keeping M5a in diode connection; then turning off M3a to block supply of the current and resetting C1a, C2a to render the gate of the M5a into a threshold voltage; turning off M7a to block a current path between the drain of M5a and GND, and in this state, turning on M5a to supply a video signal through C1a, C2a to the gate of M5a; and consecutively, turning on M6a to form a current path between M5a and a signal line (data) to output the current generating between the source and the drain of M5a through the source side to the signal line (data). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
