PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display how game balls entering a stage or the like roll by sensing it by a plurality of light sensing means disposed on a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a game board which has a game area where the game balls roll as positioned by facing a light transmitting area, the light sensing means which detect the game balls rolling in the game area on the game board through the light transmitting area in the game board and a display means which has a performance image display area for displaying images and sensing regions for sensing the game balls by the plurality of light sensing means disposed respectively at prescribed positions of the performance image display area. The game board is provided with a performance image display control means provided in the game area which has a prescribed passage area making the game balls pass while surrounding a prescribed region detectable by the light sensing means involved on one hand and it controls to display performance images in the performance image display area according to the result of the sensing of the game balls rolling in the prescribed passage region detected by the light sensing means on the other.
