PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an imaging method capable of improving the efficiency in diagnosis. SOLUTION: After a main scan image AI (x, y) is generated, a corrected image AIc (x, y) is generated by implementing the image correction process for the main scan image AI (x, y). Then, the corrected image AIc (x, y) is displayed on a display screen. At the time, if a control signal to display the main scan image AI (x, y) before correction is output based on a command from an operator, the corrected image AIc (x, y) displayed on the display screen is changed to the main scan image AI (x, y) before correction.
