PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a specific subunit, requiring responses from among a plurality of subunits, to respond to the entire subunits requesting communication, when communication requests are made from the plurality of subunits. SOLUTION: At the reception of a meeting hall installed, in advance, a communication system has a reception terminal 50 to perform reception from a plurality of subunits 40 (40a, 40b) inside a specified hall, and registers the subunits entering the hall. The registration data are transmitted to master units 70 (70a, 70b, 70c) installed in the hall. Based on the registered data, each master units registers the subunits that enter the hall, and displays on each display unit of the master unit as a telephone directory. When there is an input from an audience, indicating that the selection of subunit from the directory and the start of communication, the master unit initiates PoC communication between the specified subunit and the selected subunit has been made.
