PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socks-knitting machine which can equivalently knit right and left socks and can easily switch the right and left socks. SOLUTION: A picker 41 for a front needle bed 12b is disposed together with a picker 21 for a rear needle bed 12a so that the heel portions of the socks can be knitted on the rear needle bed 12a and the front needle bed 12b. Yarn feeders 15au2, 15ad for plaiting yarns are together used with the pickers 21, 41, while being switched for left leg and right leg. A fixing looper 43 for holding the end of the plaiting yarn is disposed separately from a fixing looper 42 for the other knitting yarn. When the middle portion of a knitting yarn extended from a knitted fabric to the feeding port of a yarn feeder as a knitting yarn or a plaiting yarn is caught, a cutter 44 is commonly used for both the fixing loopers 42, 43.
