MOISTURE-ABSORBING COATING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture-absorbing coating material for the formation of a moisture-absorbing film moistureproofing an article with a high moisture absorption rate without contaminating an article-holding space. SOLUTION: The moisture-absorbing coating material is composed of a resin solution and a desiccating agent that is dispersed in the resin solution. An example of such desiccating agent contained herein is a mixed particle comprising calcium carbonate and zeolite. Methyl ethyl ketone is contained as a solvent for synthetic resins contained in the resin solution. A polyurethane resin is contained as such a synthetic resin. A polyurethane resin and a polyolefin resin are contained as such synthetic resins. The resin solution contains a blocked isocyanate as a crosslinking agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
