PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol resin-molding material having a high mechanical strength and without forming a crack even on molding as a tablet. SOLUTION: This phenol resin-molding material comprises a phenol resin, an inorganic filler containing a glass fiber, an elastomer and a releasing agent as essential components and used by being formed as the tablet. Based on the total amount of the phenol resin-molding material, 25 to 40 mass% phenol resin, 40-70 mass% inorganic filler containing the glass fiber and 0.5 to 3.0 mass% elastomer are contained.
