PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crossing bar breakage preventer for locking the breakage preventer by a simple means when there is a risk that the breakage preventer causes an erroneous operation due to an unintentional external force. SOLUTION: The breakage preventer is equipped with an oscillating mechanism 1 having a fixed base 2 and a movable base 3 which are assembled through the two pivot shafts, a sleeve 6 firmly fixed to the fixed base 2, and a holder 8 detachably provided on the movable base 3. The breakage preventer is also equipped with a fastening member 11 provided in a freely detachable manner on the oscillating mechanism 1. When there is a risk that the unintended external force is applied to the crossing bar, the breakage preventer can be locked by the fastening member 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
