PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal structure, in which the resonance wavelength of localized plasmon exists on the long wavelength side such as an infrared area, not showing absorption based on a multi-mode. SOLUTION: This metal structure includes a fixed base plate and a plurality of metal bodies disposed on the fixed base plate, and has plasmon resonance absorption. The metal bodies provide a metal structure formed of two or more metal nano particles (preferably the particle is rectangular parallelepiped) connected to each other through a bottle neck having a specified neck width.
