PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press apparatus where driving is possible at low consumption power using a plurality of driving motors. SOLUTION: The press apparatus 1 is provided with: a crown 5 mounted with a first die; a slide 4 mounted with a second die 2 and movable toward the crown 5; and a driving part 6 capable of driving the slide 4. The driving part 6 includes: a plurality of driving motors 7; a plurality of driving members driven by the driving motors 7 and capable of transferring power to the slide 4; and a power transferring member connecting the driving members and capable of transferring power from either to the other.
