PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily dispose garbage after treatment without such a risk that a user touches with a stirring means. SOLUTION: The garbage disposer comprises: a disposer body 10 having a treatment tank 15 for storing garbage; a lid body 55 openably/closably disposed in the disposer body 10; the stirring means (a rotary member 22) for stirring the garbage inside the treatment tank 15; a heating means (a heater 58) for heating the garbage inside the treatment tank 15; a container housing part 34 provided between an outer casing body 11 of the disposer body 10 and the treatment tank 15, connected to a discharge opening 18 provided in the treatment tank 15, and detachably fitted with a disposal container 37 from a take-out opening 14 provided in the outer casing body 11; and a discharge means (a blower 51, and the rotary member 22) for discharging the garbage to the disposal container 37 inside the container housing part 34 from the discharge opening 18 of the treatment tank 15.
