An electrical storage battery has a fleece matrix separator made of first and second fibers made up of three aliphatic polyamides. The melting point of the first polyamide is at least 40[deg]C lower than that of the second and third polyamides. The fleece first fibers have an inner core and an outer sleeve made of different materials. The sleeve is made of first and second aliphatic polyamides. The first polyamide is the sleeve and the second polyamide is the core of the first fiber. The second fiber consists at least in part of a third aliphatic polyamide.
