A control device that, when an air conditioner has an abnormality, stores information necessary to analyze factors of the abnormality. The control device (4) of the air conditioner (1) has a microcomputer (5) and a memory (6). When operating conditions of the air conditioner (1) do not satisfy predetermined conditions, the microcomputer (5) determines that the air conditioner (1) has an abnormality and makes the air conditioner (1) perform an irregular stop. In performing the irregular stop of the air conditioner (1), the microcomputer (5) causes operation information before the irregular stop occurs to be stored as a code in the memory (6). A service person for the air conditioner (1) reads the code from the memory (6) to know what the abnormality is and estimates its factors.
