A malfunction prevention apparatus for a control lever of heavy construction equipment is provided to prevent the malfunction of a control lever by opening a pilot line and supplying pilot pressure of a control lever if the photographed location of a driver's face and eyes coincides with the preset location. A malfunction prevention apparatus for a control lever of heavy construction equipment, where working oil of a hydraulic pump supplies to an actuator such as a boom or an arm through a control valve by pilot pressure occurring from a pilot pump when operating each control lever installed to the front, right and left sides of a driver's seat, comprises a safety lever installed to one side of the driver's seat and moving between an operation mode and a release mode, a pair of camera members placed on the front of the driver's seat, fixed to the outside of an upper frame of a cabin by a camera holder and photographing the location of a driver's face and eyes, and an electronic controller connected with the camera members and the safety lever and opening and closing a pilot line connected to the control lever and the hydraulic pump selectively according to output signals supplied from the camera members and the safety lever. |
