APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING PATTERNS ON A SUBSTRATE PLATE

An apparatus and a method for patterning a substrate are provided to form an RGB pattern or various patterns on an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel by a simple print method. An electrification unit electrifies the surface of a photosensitive plate(81) to a desired pattern shape. A developing unit(74) attaches powder ink on the electrified portion of the photosensitive plate. A printer head supports the photosensitive plate. A substrate(91) is loaded to a stage(92). A desired pattern is transferred to the substrate by the photosensitive plate. A process room(90) guides the printer head. In the process room, the desired pattern is transferred to the substrate by the photosensitive plate. A compressing member compresses the photosensitive plate toward the substrate. The compressing member is supported by a supporter of the printer head and includes a compressing unit for performing the relative movement between the supporter and the photosensitive plate.
