A crane for a camera is provided to allow a user to adjust the position and angle of the camera by rotating a camera rest in vertical and horizontal directions about a boom with a remote controller, and to minimize the size of the crane and facilitate its maintenance with a boom that is disassembled in a plurality of pieces. A crane for a camera comprises a camera rest(10), a boom(20), a vertical rotary unit(50), a horizontal rotary unit(60), a vertical frame(30), a tripod(40), a balancing unit(70), a weight-balancing unit, and a remote controller. The camera rest comprises a mounting brace(11) to place the camera, and a connecting brace(12) assembled to one side of the mounting brace. The boom is assembled to the camera rest and a plurality of boom braces(21,22,23) is assembled in a straight line by a joint(24). The vertical rotary unit, mounted between the mounting brace and the connecting brace, rotates the connecting brace in vertical direction. The horizontal rotary unit, mounted between the connecting brace and the forefront boom brace, rotates the connecting brace in horizontal direction. The vertical frame is provided with an elongated hole in vertical direction to allow the boom to be axially connected and to rotate in vertical direction. The tripod is assembled to a lower side of the vertical frame, standing on the ground. The balancing unit maintains the balance of the boom made of a plurality of pieces. The weight-balancing unit secures the weight balance of the boom. The remote controller, in connection with the vertical rotary unit, horizontal rotary unit, and the camera, allows a user to adjust the angle of the camera rest. |
