<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode for an electrochemical element capable of increasing capacity and productivity of the electrode while keeping mechanical strength of a collector. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of an electrode for an electrochemical element is characterized by including; a process of forming a collector having a first region reduced in surface roughness by applying stress thereto by applying mechanical stress to a part of foil having predetermined surface roughness Ra, and a second region without stress applied thereto; a second process of forming an active material layer by providing an active material storing and releasing lithium ions on the collector; and a process of removing at least a part of the active material provided on the first region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
